By Road: Road access to Leh is available via the Srinagar-Leh Highway (NH-1) and the Manali-Leh Highway. These routes are typically open only from June to October, contingent upon snowfall conditions. By Train: Leh is not directly accessible by rail. The closest major railway station is Jammu Tawi, situated approximately 700 km away.
Upon arrival at Leh Airport, you shall be greeted by our tour representative and subsequently transferred to your hotel. Following check-in, the remainder of the day is designated for leisure and acclimatization. Adequate rest is imperative to facilitate bodily adaptation to the high-altitude environment. After breakfast, drive to visit the famous monasteries of Ladakh- Hemis Gompa, Thiksey Gompa and Shey Palace.
Hemis Gompa, a prominent and affluent monastery in Ladakh, accommodates approximately 150 monks and hosts the annual Hemis festival. En route to Leh, a visit will be made to Thiksey Gompa, a 16th-century monastery superbly located atop a hill. The final stop is the Shey Palace ruins, formerly the summer residence of pre-Tibetan kings, the palace monastery contains a large, bronze Buddha statue with blue hair. Later return to Leh, a visit to the Shanti Stupa shall be arranged by sunset, followed by dinner and overnight lodging at a hotel in Leh. Return back to Hotel for Overnight stay.
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed to Pangong Tso, wherein 'Tso' denotes 'Lake', situated at an elevation of 14,500 feet. Traverse the Changla Pass at 17,350 ft, the world's third-highest motorable road. Upon arrival at Pangong Tso in the late afternoon, check in to the designated camp. After a brief respite, observe the lake's characteristic chromatic variations in concert with the evolving sky. Dinner will be served in the camp dining hall, followed by overnight stay in Pangong.
After breakfast, check-out from the Camp and enjoy the view of Lake and later bac to Leh. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel and Overnight stay.
After breakfast, check-out from the and drive to Leh Airport to depart the journey.
