Srinagar lacks a railway station; the closest major rail hub is Jammu Tawi (JAT), situated roughly 270 kilometers away.

By Train:

DAY 01- Arrive Srinagar

Arrive Srinagar Airport and check-in to the hotel. Later visit the Mughal Gardens, encompassing Nishat Bagh (The Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), as well as the Sankaracharya Temple and a carpet-weaving manufactory. Return back to the hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 02- Srinagar – Sonmarg- Srinagar (80 kms- 02 hrs One Way Distance)

After breakfast, drive to take an excursion to Sonmarg: Sonmarg, the most scenic route from Srinagar, features numerous picturesque stopover points. Proceed to Sonmarg (Meadow of Gold), situated at 2690 meters. Ascend via horseback to Thajiwas Glacier, characterized by perennial snow cover. Sonmarg serves as the Gateway of Ladakh. Return back to Srinagar and Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 03- Srinagar / Gulmarg (80 kms- 2.5 hrs)

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Gulmarg. Upon arrival check-in to the hotel. Later visit the Gulmarg Gondola (On direct payment), the highest and longest cable car project in Asia, constitutes the principal attraction. Patrons are granted ample time to avail themselves of both sections separately. While independent skiing is common, professional instruction is available for a fee. The ski-lift facilitates skiing/snowboarding from elevated positions. Notably, Gulmarg is also the location of the world's highest 18-hole golf course. Return back to the hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 04- Gulmarg / Pahalgam (140 kms- 4.5 hrs)

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Pahalgam known as the 'Valley of Shepherds”. Upon arrival check-in to the hotel. Later visit Betaab Valley: A scenic valley, named in honor of the Bollywood production.

Aru Valley: Notable for its verdant meadows, flowing rivers, and breathtaking panoramas.

Chandanwari: The inaugural station for the Amarnath Yatra, featuring snow-covered peaks.

Lidder Valley: Indulge in picturesque vistas encompassing verdant meadows, forests, and fluvial recreational opportunities.

 

Note: Due to vehicle restrictions, engaging a union cab for excursions to Aru and Betaab Valley is required.

DAY 05- Pahalgam/ Srinagar (90m kms- 03 hrs)

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Srinagar, en-route visit Awantipura Ruins: Visit sacred temples dedicated to Lord Shiva & Saffron Fields: Observe saffron cultivation procedures in Pampore. Later continue journey to Srinagar. Upon arrival check-in to the Hotel/Houseboat. Later enjoy one-hour shikara excursion on the renowned Dal Lake during the evening.Return back to the hotel/ houseboat for overnight stay.

DAY 06- Srinagar Departure

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and Srinagar Airport to depart the journey.
